Quest Training & Career Transition Program (CTP), recognise that mental health and well-being are integral aspects of one’s overall journey to personal and professional fulfilment. Our commitment extends beyond career development to encompass comprehensive support for mental health and well-being, ensuring that individuals receive the holistic assistance they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Through our collaborative approach and partnership with professionals in the mental health field, we strive to provide tailored support that addresses the unique needs and challenges faced by each individual.
Central to our approach is the identification and signposting of individual needs through personalised assessments and consultations where necessary. We understand that mental
health concerns can manifest in various forms and impact individuals differently, depending on factors such as personal experiences, stressors, and coping mechanisms. Our external team of experienced professionals, including career advisors, counsellors, and mental health specialists, works closely with clients to conduct thorough assessments and identify areas of concern. Through open and empathetic communication, we create a safe space for individuals to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns, enabling us to gain insights into their specific challenges and aspirations.
Once needs have been identified, we leverage our extensive network of support services to provide individuals with access to the appropriate resources and interventions. This may include referrals to mental health professionals, such as therapists, counsellors, or psychologists, who can offer specialised support and therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual’s needs. Additionally, we collaborate with community organisations, support groups, and helplines to ensure individuals have access to a diverse range of support options that cater to their unique circumstances and preferences.
Through our proactive approach to signposting, we empower individuals to take ownership of their mental health and well-being journey by providing them with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed decisions and access the support they need. We believe that by facilitating early intervention and connecting individuals with the right support services, we can effectively address mental health concerns, promote resilience, and enhance overall well-being.
Furthermore, our commitment to mental health and well-being extends beyond the initial assessment and signposting process. We provide ongoing support and follow-up to monitor progress, address any emerging needs, and ensure individuals remain connected to the support services that best meet their evolving requirements. Whether it’s through regular check-ins, additional counselling sessions, or adjustments to support plans, we remain dedicated to supporting individuals throughout their mental health and well-being journey.
Quest CTP is committed to supporting individuals in their mental health and well-being journey by working collaboratively with professionals, identifying individual needs, and signposting to the correct support services. Through our personalised approach and proactive intervention, we strive to empower individuals to prioritise their mental health, access the support they need, and achieve holistic well-being. As you go through the stages of the CTP, you will need the National Vocational Qualification to endorse competence in the training you have been through, in order to prove your credibility in the workplace.
After successful completion of the technical Construction/Crane test in your chosen route, candidates are issued with the Red Trained Operatives Card. The red card lasts for just 2 years and in this time card, holders are required to undertake the relevant NVQ to upgrade to the Blue Competent Operator Card. Blue cards have a 5-year validity. Although it is mandatory part of the training, NVQ is a stand-alone qualification awarded by the Construction Awards Alliance, which endorses competence in the construction workplace.
We will take the candidate, every step of the way to ensure they attain the qualification they need.
The NVQ will provide competence-based qualifications for those working with Construction and lifting equipment in various industrial sectors. This qualification is used throughout your working career and is taken from site to site, with the confidence that you are competent and able to work to recognised industry standards. The NVQ qualification gives you and your employer, proof that you have reached a certain standard within your occupation.
National Vocational Qualifications are competence based and are achieved during the work environment. They demonstrate your ability at work by recognising the skills, knowledge, ability, training and experience required to perform a job safely and in an effective and efficient manner.
The NVQ has been developed to work more closely with employers to make qualifications more relevant to what learners need to succeed in their chosen profession.
NVQ assessment recognises your performance at work with a nationally recognised qualification. All skills are assessed through work-based evidence and because there are no exams or tests,
Certification is based on evidence of your skills. The NVQ will be structured so the candidates will have contact with Aquest during the programme and will allow site visits/consultations/assessment of specific works carried out, in order to comply to the terms of our governing bodies for the NVQ to be successful.
Our NVQ partners will also develop working relationships with yourself and your employers to ensure convenience at al times.
